Lead Instructor

Dustin Chandler, a former Alabama police officer with 8 years of experience in narcotics investigations, tactical operations, and patrol, has a personal connection to CDKL5 Deficiency Disorder (CDD) through his daughter, Carly, diagnosed in 2012. Inspired by her, he served on the board of the International Foundation of CDKL5 Research and founded the Special Education Community Alliance in Hoover, AL. Dustin has been a member of the Special Education Advisory Panel (SEAP) and the Disability Advocates for Alabama Public Schools (DAAPS). As a nationally certified emergency medical technician, he uniquely connects with law enforcement plus fire/rescue, using his multifaceted background to deliver impactful training across the southeast.
